Africa Tourism Lab: the first innovation hub in Benin dedicated to tourism, hospitality, and catering
Africa Tourism Lab is the first innovation hub in Benin, designed to support the transformation of tourism, hospitality, and catering in Africa. Its mission is to contribute to making the continent an unmissable destination and Benin a reference in West Africa.
The Lab offers unique tourist experiences by connecting travelers with local guides for authentic and verified stays, ranging from ecotourism to adventure. It also strengthens professionals' skills through continuous training certified by the French State, in partnership with the École Internationale Tunon, tailored to real-world needs. Africa Tourism Lab additionally supports entrepreneurs and promoters in the design and development of high-value projects with strategic and operational support at each stage.
It also publishes sectoral studies, such as the first salary guide in hospitality in Benin, to better understand market dynamics and support the professionalization of professions. Finally, it leads an active community of professionals through events like AfterLearn or CapOrientation, promoting innovation, synergies, and recruitment opportunities. Through these actions, Africa Tourism Lab highlights local wealth and contributes to building a competitive and sustainable African tourism industry.
